Recently renovated and tastefully appointed the Lake House has 2 large bedrooms, is dog friendly, has polished timber floors, a modern kitchen and bathroom, plus a fully fenced dog yard. (dogs are welcome inside the house)
PAYMENT DETAILS
For stays of 3 to 4 nights, the full amount is payable at the time of booking.
For stays of 5 nights or more 50% deposit is payable at time of booking. Balance is payable 30 days prior to arrival.
Deposit may be paid by direct deposit, cheque or money order.
Balance may be paid by Cash, credit card or money order.
BOND
A bond will also be payable on your credit card, when you pay the balance, but this will be fully refunded back to your credit card, after your departure, (approximately 3 days after cottage has been cleaned) provided the cottage does not require any additional cleaning over and above the usual, nor incurred any damage.
The bond is taken as a precaution. Our hope is that we will never have cause to use the bond. We have been operating holiday cottages for 10 years and on the whole, have had wonderful guests who have appreciated and respected our cottages.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations up to 28 days before arrival date: deposit will be refunded less $100 administration fee.
Cancellations between 28 and 10 days will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total amount.
Cancellations within 0 to 9 days of booked arrival date will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
MINIMUM STAYS
4 nights at Easter
5 nights at Christmas and New Year
3 nights all long weekends
3 nights at all other times
WHAT TO BRING
Bed sheets for queen beds, pillowslips, bath towels, hand towels, bath mat, tea towels, all food and clothes.
Not suitable for large boats. No off street parking.

DOGS WELCOME
Dogs are very welcome at The Lake House and are allowed inside the cottage. The back yard is fully dog fenced. There is a doggy door onto the deck and one off the laundry.
We strongly suggest that dogs have a tick and flea treatment like Advantix or Frontline, applied at least a week before they visit, as ticks are very prevalent along the coast of NSW. Please check your dogs for ticks every day during their stay and for up to a week after you return home.
What to bring: dog beds, dog bowls, dog food, toys, some old towels in case the dogs get wet, and rugs to cover furniture, if they are used to sitting on the furniture at home. Bags to collect Doggy Do’s.
Conditions: Dogs are not to be left alone inside the house under any circumstances, because they will probably fret and feel abandoned by you. Dogs, particularly under 2 years of age, or dogs which like to garden, dig, chew and bark a lot should not be left alone in the yard either. Barking dogs can be very annoying, and ruin a peaceful environment, so please be considerate of our neighbours. Unfortunately, damage caused inside or outside the house by guest dogs is not covered in the tariff nor by our insurance company. Dog owners will be required to cover the cost of any repairs or replacement items. And of course, please collect all your dogs droppings.
There are many leash free dog friendly beaches close by, and restaurants with outdoor tables and chairs, which allow patrons to eat there with their dogs.
